Blokart Landsailing is a great activity for people that don't usually find it easy to access sport on their own and is one of a few sports where disabled sailors can compete on a level playing field with able bodied competitors. It is enjoyed by hundrets all over the world. With the specially designed Speed and Disability Harness we developed a product that improves safety for the physically impaired while allowing to go full speed with maximum control. Some of our most successful Blokart sailors and even former national champions are sailors that have a physical disability.
Those with more severe disabilities can still experience the excitment of landsailing with the use of a Shadow (second seat)
To give sailors who require modification to their kart access to racing, the IBRA (International Blokart Racing Association) have amended the international sailing rules so the regulations meet the requirements of those sailors. Check out the current rule book here
