Strong, yet flexible, Fiberglass mast sections are the standard equipment on entry level Blokart's. They provide a forgiving, controlled ride, especially in gusty conditions. Also, placing Fibreglass sections at the top of a carbon mast allows big wind gusts to exhaust out the top of the sail while the bottom of the sail is still powered-up.
